Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Idrissov to Finland

Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov will visit Finland on 18-19 March. He will participate in the official opening of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Helsinki. The embassy launched its operation last autumn.

During his visit, Foreign Minister Idrissov will meet President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö, Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Eero Heinäluoma, and Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb. In addition, Minister Idrissov will meet President Martti Ahtisaari, who acts as the Chairman of the Board of Crisis Management Initiative. His itinerary will also include a lecture at the University of Helsinki titled “Kazakhstan in the Contemporary World”.
