Foreign Minister Tuomioja to the EU Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius

The third EU Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in Vilnius on 28–29 November. The Finnish delegation at the Summit will be chaired by Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja.

The main topics of the Summit will include the Association Agreements negotiated between the EU and the partner countries, and the progress of partner countries in the visa liberalisation and visa-free travel process. The Summit also aims to set guidelines and goals for future Eastern Partnership work. The EU and the partner countries intend to issue their joint declaration at the Summit.
